GENERAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO YOU MAKE THE JUICE?
Each juice is cold-pressed using a hydraulic press. The press uses a massive amount of pressure to slowly extract the flavor, nutrients, and enzymes from the fresh produce.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY JUICE?
All juice should remain either refrigerated or frozen.
IS SEPARATION AND SEDIMENTS NORMAL?
The sediments are natural in juices. We recommend gently shaking before drinking.
HOW LONG WILL THE JUICE LAST?
Cold Pressed Juices last between 3-5 days before opening. After day 1, the cold press juice loses about 40% of their nutrition value. Contrary to cold press juice, juice made with traditional juicers (centrifugal and masticating ) roughly 40% of nutritional value within the first hour.
HOW QUICKLY DO I NEED TO DRINK MY JUICE?
We recommend drinking your cold press juice within 24-48 hours of opening.
DO YOU ADD ANY WATER, SUGAR OR SWEETENER TO YOUR JUICE?
No! All of our juice is 100% natural, raw produce.
WHAT DOES UNPASTEURIZED MEAN?
Pasteurization is a process that heats a product to a high temperature to prolong shelf life. This process may destroy present microbes, how it damages nutrients and enzymes. By not pasteurizing our juices, you are getting a higher nutrient and enzyme content.
HOW WILL I GET FIBER WHILE JUICING
Fruit and vegetables contain two types of fiber: soluble and insoluble forms. Even though the juicing process extracts the insoluble fiber (fibers that remain in the pulp, which helps bulk up stools and regulates bowel movements), the soluble fibers are left and processed as liquid (which break down in water and are passed through your system) Since these fibers are processed through the body, your digestion system gets a nice little break, and in turn resets your body of toxins.
WHERE WILL I GET MY PROTEIN WHILE JUICING?
Protein is available in many of the plant-based foods that are used in our juices - spinach, kale, romaine lettuce, and carrots to name a few. They contain a surprisingly high amount of protein. In fact, some juices (especially green juices) have about 4 to 5 grams per 12 oz serving. However, if you choose to juice cleanse for more than 15 days, it is recommended to add in more protein other than juice, ex. a handful of nuts.
HOW MANY FRUIT AND VEGETABLES AND I GETTING IN EACH JUICE?
In each juice, you are receiving three to five pounds of raw produce.
HOW DO I DEFROST MY FROZEN JUICE?
Place frozen juice in refrigerator to defrost 24 hours before drinking. Do not defrost juice in room temperature. We recommend drinking juice 24-48 hours after defrosted.
